Describe the ways in which Ted Hammond plays the part of a detective.

  2. He plays the part of a detective by reading mysteries, with-out reading the end. Then he takes out a piece of parchment and writing down all the characters and looking for the logical explanations of who might have committed the crime or what caused something odd to happen. Then he reads the end of the way the author wrote the ending to the story. Eight out of 10 times he was correct.

  6. he acted like a detective by constantly taking notes and remembering that he saw a name on the girl's shoe. He reads mysteries and half way through the book he stops reading and tries to solve them with the information that he has so far. then he finishes it to see if he is right and a lot of times he is.
